The UK’s Modern Slavery Act requires Moonbug Entertainment Limited (“Moonbug”) to make a statement of the steps the organisation has taken during the financial year to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any of its supply chains and in any part of its business.
Moonbug is a leading media group focused on the acquisition, production and distribution of children content across all media throughout the world, including the UK. Its supply chains include the acquisition of intellectual property rights and related ranges of marketing materials and promotional assets, and the licensing of rights to third party distribution partners.
As a responsible and ethical business, Moonbug has a zero-tolerance approach to all types of slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains. Moonbug fully supports the principles and aims of the UK’s Modern Slavery Act.
In line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have set out the steps we are taking to identify and minimise modern slavery risk and we continue to review all new and existing suppliers and contributors to ensure that they have appropriate procedures in place that support Moonbug’s policy. Where brands are licensed to agents, those licensees are only permitted to use approved manufacturers.
Moonbug expects every supplier who has, or seeks to have, a business relationship with Moonbug or any member of its group to act at all times in ways that are consistent with Moonbug’s policy.
As part of the implementation of this policy, Moonbug take steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any of its supply chains.
Moonbug’s senior management is responsible for implementing this policy. Key staff have been identified within our business and tasked with primary responsibility for understanding, assessing and monitoring the risk within our business of modern slavery and human trafficking. Those staff include our General Counsel, Head of Strategy and Head of Brand. We propose to conduct training for all staff to remind our staff of our policies and our obligations in respect of combating modern slavery.

As part of a policy of acting with integrity in its business relationships, Moonbug will remain alert to he risks, however small, of modern slavery and human trafficking activities occurring in its supply chains.
