Here at Mellownest we think it’s pretty important that everyone has an understanding about the most influential organ in their body – their brain!
This video was created in response to a school based project, teaching children about the impact of stress on the brain. Science tells us that when we’re calm and our brains are working in an integrated way, we can make good decisions and easily solve problems but also that when we have big feelings like anger or stress that we can get thrown off track and need some help to get back to an integrated state again.

We wanted to make something fun and simple that parents would be able to watch with their children to help them begin to understand the link between their brain and their feelings and behaviours. A lot of parents have been in touch to say that it helped them to understand their brain better too!
